Weekend Scenic Lift Rides more info
Lift rides are available every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am until 5:30 pm. Bring the whole family, a picnic lunch, your mountain bike, or just a friend and enjoy a breathtaking 45 minute roundtrip lift-ride to Sugar's 5,300 foot peak. The majestic scenery is worth it. Special weekday lift ride dates include Friday, July 2nd and Monday, September 6th.

Thanksgiving Turkey Treat
Plan to spend your Thanksgiving at Sugar this year. For one low price, you can ski/ride any one session each of the four days of the Thanksgiving weekend, November 25-28, 2010 for just $110. Offer expires Monday, November 22, 2010 at 4 pm. If you purchase before Oct. 1, 2010 at 4 pm you pay only $90. Less than $23 a day! If the ski resort is not open because of weather, you can ski/ride any four(4) non-holiday weekdays throughout the year.

Snowshoe Guided Tours more info
A great way to stay fit during the winter months! Snowshoe tours will be offered every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3 pm and Saturday at 9am and 3pm. Based on instructor availability, additional tours will be given on demand for groups of 4 to 15. The program includes a 1 hour tour and snowshoe rental. Cost is $20. Adult tours are for 12 years or older. Children's tours are for 8-11 year olds. Sign up at least 15 minutes prior to your tour time at the Ski/Snowboard School.

Nastar is a public racing program that provides recreational racers with the opportunity to compare their ability to the fastest member of the US Ski Team. Nastar races are held every Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon on Big Red.

1994 Olympic Gold & Silver Medalist Diann Roffe, two-time (1994 & 1996) Olympian, Krista Schmidinger and US National Super G Champion Keely Kelleher top the list of this season’s ski clinic coaching staff. Three days of non-stop individual instruction and attention from accomplished skiers and certified instructors. Clinic includes a three-day lift ticket, coaching fees, tuning clinic, video analysis, and a scrumptious Saturday night dinner. Daily participation is welcome or for the entire three days.

National Winter Trails Day - Winter Feels Good
The 16th annual National Winter Trails Day is back at Sugar Mountain Resort. The event offers children and adults new to snow sports the chance to try snowshoeing for FREE. Discover the fun and fitness of snow sports. Snowshoe rental and guided tours are free. Guided tours are available at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm. The program includes a 1 hour tour and snowshoe rental. Adult tours are for 12 years or older. Children's tours are for 8-11 year olds. Sign up at least 15 minutes prior to your tour time at the Ski/Snowboard School.
