Students of North Carolina and Tennessee colleges, universities and community colleges qualify for discounted slope/lift tickets. Some restrictions and blackout periods apply and are outlined below.
Discounts available for Sunday’s Night Session plus all sessions Monday through Thursday. Not available December 10, 2021 – January 2, 2022, Martin Luther King Weekend (January 15-17, 2022), or President’s Day Weekend (February 19-21, 2022).

- Please remember your ID’s. Student is required. If your school does not use a photo ID the student may use the college ID and a driver’s license to receive the discount. All college ID’s must have the year date clearly printed on them.
IMPORTANT: Your lift ticket and rental equipment are non-refundable and non-transferable. The Resort does not assume any responsibility for lost lift passes. No replacements. Everyone must have a valid lift ticket at all times to enter any slope system. No grace period at Sugar Mountain ski area. Management reserves the right to revoke ticket for misconduct. All prices and policies subject to change without notice.
Our lift equipment requires routine maintenance. Although every precaution is taken; in rare cases, grease may drip from lift equipment. Sugar Mountain Resort is not responsible for grease on clothing or equipment. This is an inherent risk of the sport. The speed of lifts may be reduced due to wind or other factors.
