Whether you're a first time skier or a just looking to improve your skiing ability, Sugar Mountain encourages you to take a lesson or two.

The "March Madness" prices begin March 5, 2012 and run through the end of the season. These prices are marked in blue and reflect a 25% savings on lift tickets, rentals and lessons.

Please read how to properly attach your lift ticket/slope pass.

Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) member schools use the American Teaching System. Group and private lessons available hourly from 9am to 3pm and at night at 6pm, 7pm & 8pm. All lessons subject to instructor availability. Group lessons are for skiers and snowboarders 8 years old and up only.

Sugar Bear Ski program is designed to teach skiing to children ages 5-10. Full Day registration is from 8:30 to 9:30am with the session running from 10:00am to 3:00pm. You may also pre-register for the Full Day programs the night before from 4:00 to 7:00pm. The Half Day program runs from 1:00 to 3:00pm with registration from 12:00 to 12:30pm. All programs include slope ticket, rental equipment, lessons, lunch (Full Day only), and supervision. Located in the Children's Learning Center.

SAVE TIME: If you are planning on putting your child into the Sugar Bear program, you may proceed directly to the Ski/Snowboard School building to purchase your lift/slope ticket as well as to register your child for the program. There is no need purchase your child's lift ticket or rental equipment prior to registering for the program.

POLAR BEAR SNOWBOARD SCHOOL

Time Savings Tip
You can register for the Sugar Bear or Polar Bear programs the night before from 4:00 - 7:00pm and avoid the morning rush!

SAVE TIME: If you are planning on putting your child into the Polar Bear program, you may proceed directly to the Ski/Snowboard School building to purchase your lift/slope ticket as well as to register your child for the program. There is no need purchase your child's lift ticket or rental equipment prior to registering for the program.

MIDWEEK LEARN TO SKI/SNOWBOARD SPECIALS

For skiers and snowboarders 8 years old & up only. Available Monday through Friday, non-holiday, includes lift ticket, ski or snowboard rental and lesson. Available for Full-Day or Twilight sessions only.

IMPORTANT: The Midweek Learn to Ski/Snowboard Specials should be purchased from the Rental cashiers. You must mention the special prior to any purchases to receive the special.

SNOWSHOE GUIDED TOURS

Snowshoe tours are one hour per session every Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 3pm; Saturdays at 9am & 3pm, snowshoe rental included. Adult tours are for 12 years or older. Child tours are for 8-11 year olds. Groups are welcome anytime. Sign up at least 15 minutes prior to your tour time at the Ski/Snowboard School building.

NASTAR RACES


Did you know?
94,398 skiers & snowboarders raced NASTAR at 119 resorts across the country in the 2004-2005 season!

NASTAR is a public racing program that provides recreational racers with an opportunity to compare their ability to the fastest member of the US Ski Team (USST). The NASTAR races are held at Sugar Mountain on Saturday and Sunday each week at 12 noon. Pre-registration is located in the Ski/Snowboard School until 10:45 am Saturday and Sunday. On mountain registration starts at 11:00 am and ends at 11:50 am prior to the 12 noon start. All races are subject to weather and slope conditions. Lift ticket/slope pass or a season pass required to participate.

IMPORTANT: Your lift ticket and rental equipment are non-refundable and non-transferable. The Resort does not assume any responsibility for lost lift passes. No replacements. Everyone must have a valid lift ticket at all times to enter any slope system. No grace period at Sugar Mountain ski area. Management reserves the right to revoke ticket for misconduct. All prices and policies subject to change without notice.
 
Our lift equipment requires routine maintenance. Although every precaution is taken; in rare cases, grease may drip from lift equipment. Sugar Mountain Resort is not responsible for grease on clothing or equipment. This is an inherent risk of the sport.
