GENERAL INFORMATION
The Sugar Mountain Resort Summit Crawl is a fun and competitive event (if you want it to be) via foot to Sugar Mountain’s 5,300’ peak by way of the Easy Street, Gunther’s Way, and Northridge slopes. Summer Trailmap Download (5.5 MB). Remember it’s just for fun but we’ll time you and give out prizes.

- Distance – approximately 6,500 ft. or 1.2 miles
- Vertical climb: 1,200 ft.
Entry fee (includes t-shirt & down-loading on Summit Express):
Competitors can ride the Summit Express back to the base of Sugar Mountain Resort. The competitor’s bib grants him/her a lift-ride back to the base of the mountain. It is a one-way lift ticket.
- Adults (Ages 13 and older) $40
- Children (Ages 12 and under) $30
Registration (First 100 entries receive Merrell gifts):
You may register online, by fax, phone, snail mail until 4:00 pm, Friday, July 5 or in-person until 9:30am, Saturday, July 6
Start Time (mass start – gravel/dirt road directly in front of the base lodge): 10:00am
Route: The designated route begins slope-side on the gravel/dirt road directly in front of the base lodge. Then travels between the Summit Express lift bottom station and the Ski/Snowboard School building. Then turns left up the Easy Street slope, then right toward the terrain park, under the GW lift, straight up the Gunther’s Way slope and onto the Northridge slope. The finish is at the summit. Packet Pick-up: At Sugar Mountain Resort Base Lodge
- Friday, July 5, Noon until 6:00pm
- Saturday, July 6, 8:30am until 9:30am
General public Summit Express lift rides:
- $15 for a one-time ride
- $30 junior (11 and under) all-day ticket
- $40 adult (12 and older) all-day ticket
- kids 4 and under ride free with a paying adult
First Aid/Water Stations sponsored by Lowes Foods is available at the summit.
Awards: Approximately 1:00pm on the main deck

Pets are welcome but they must be on a leash at all times. They are not allowed to participate in the Summit Crawl, or ride on Summit Express lift. They may not be on the property decks, or in the buildings, unless it is a service animal.
Sugar Mountain Food Service is open from 11:00am until 3:00pm
Entertainment:
The Rockabilly’s performs live from 11:00am – 2:00pm
